This is why there will never be a Jordanian terrorist hijacker:
1. We are always late, we would have missed all the flights.
2. The pretty girls on the plane would distract us.
3. We would talk loudly and bring attention to ourselves.
4. With food and drinks on the plane, we would forget why we’re there.
5. We talk with our hands, therefore we would have to put our weapons down.
6. We would ALL want to fly the plane.
7. We would argue and start a fight in the plane.
8. We can’t keep a secret, we would have told everyone a week before doing it.
9. We would have put our country’s flag on the windshield.
And Finaly for Number 10…
10.We would all have fallen over each other to be in the photograph being taken by one of the hostages.
:D

There was a time when nobody wanted to be called a geek. It meant you were a book worm, with no life, no girlfriend, basically a ‘nobody’.
Well, times do change and so does the outlook of people. These days, everybody wants to be called a geek (at least in my profession - the IT industry). You still are a book worm (more of a computer worm), you still have no life, in most cases you still dont have a girlfriend, but you are ’somebody’. The world of geeks stands up to take notice of its brethren. That is that.
Take note, that the geeks are geeks. Modern geeks do posses some extrordinary qualities. They can stare at a monitor (well, an average guy uses 2 screens for a single system) for 20 hours in a day, the rest of it is spent in drowning oneself in tons of hardware. They have the ability to work with no lighting what so ever. For them, Football is another curse on man kind. A girl friend? You’ll get killed if you mention it to them.
There were days when you would find people talking to themselves. This was more in the mental asylums. People who had lost their bearing upstairs. These days, if you find people talking to themselves, you are wrong. They are geeks with the latest gadgetry. A 5 gm bluetooth earpiece, embedded in their ear, talking to the GPS system on their PDA, asking for directions to get to the next room!!
However, Not all Geeks are true Geeks, Consider having 60 systems in your basement with half a dozen servers. Writing applications to control the bidding on popular auction sites, being able to hack good software programs without batting an eye, using Keyboards that dont have any markings on the keys!! Well, you definitely arent ‘normal’.
I am a Geek, maybe not a “true” Geek, but one never the less, and i like it :P

As was inevitable, George Bush has gone completely insane, The News Telegraph quotes Pentagon officials to the effect that Bush is pressing for the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Iran. As he did with Iraq, he begins by trumping up false claaims, follows it with alleged diplomacy and now threatens to use nuclear weapons. The man who has run our good name into the ground, wants to start a new war while he can’t afford to fight the one that’s going now. It would appear from the story that his main aim is his legacy; which, by the way, has shifted from Iraq to Iran:
..Despite America’s public commitment to diplomacy, there is a growing belief in Washington that the only solution to the crisis is regime change. A senior Pentagon consultant said that Mr Bush believes that he must do “what no Democrat or Republican, if elected in the future, would have the courage to do,” and “that saving Iran is going to be his legacy”.
Clearly the guy has gone totaly mad…

Have a bunch of important pages that you have to check frequently? Hard to choose one to set as homepage? Thinking about writing a aggregator-like page to integrate them? Do you know firefox can set multiple pages as homepage?
How can it be possible? Well, its simple. Firefox can open all these homepages in several tabs. A neat feature if you wanna set sort of reminder to check some pages right upon you open the browser.
How to do this? Open the pages you want to bookmark in tabs. Go preference->General, and Under Home Page select Use current Pages. See the vertical bar separated list of homepages?
Enjoy.
