Fox Movies: So Far So Bad!
As a movie addict, I must say I’m disappointed with the performance of Fox’s new middle east movie channel.
When i first heard about the channel i was excited, i thought to myself, finally a channel that’ll deliver some premo quality movies, admittedly being somewhat of a couch potato myself i hoped this channel will keep me glued to the TV screen. sadly it has not come even close.
Ever since the channel started airing, the overwhelming majority of its movies were old and boring, and the “somewhat” new movies it showed were dull, I mean, how many low budget B rated movies can one tolerate? not much. I wish they’d at least show some good old Classics instead, That’d be quite alright.
So yeah, so far I’m really disappointed, compared to other channels that broadcast movies such as, mbc 2, mbc 4, and Dubai One, I’d say Fox Movies has done a poor job so far in terms of attracting the viewer. which is strange the case should be quite the opposite.

Mark my words my friend, the days for such stations are numbered. Just wait for Hulu and others to really mature and you will no longer need to even have a satellite dish anymore
I’d give it 3 to 5 years… Although, the technology is already available

I doubt it since such services would need very high speed internet connection and a fat bandwidth which we lack in Jordan, plus I’m not sure if this would be a viable reliable option since other sites like vioh have denied access to users from many countries including Jordan.

The market is acting on itself now. Remember the days that we used to wait for the mercy of TV channels to dictate what we watch?
Now its the 1JD DVD, tomorrow its gna be watching movies online in HD!

It’s noticeable. This channel really sucks. I’ve only tried it for one day yet I was disappointed by such movies they offer.
They thought that broadcasting to such audience in MENA region will bring the quality missed on a movie channel.
They underestimated our people…

thats so true amean the only movie i liked was donnie darko which i saw like 100 times and they kept reapeatong it for ever but srsly they shoulld do like a whole site so we can tell ‘em wats up!!
