The Best Song In The Universe!!
Behold this Arabic Song, To be quite frank, I have no idea who sings this song. I have no idea What its name is, and I cannot understand a single word of it, Yet for some unfathomable reason, I find it strangely addicting! I frickin love it!
Enjoy

It’s Jordanian one

:D what is that?
February 14th, 2008 at 10:22 am
I do not think he is actually speaking Arabic. And from the tone I would say it is close to barbar.
UPDATE: I’ve listened a bit more, and it seems to me like something that Tounisy people would sing????

I listenen to it several times I think I understand some of it.
he is talking about a girl whom he wants to be his wife…but he doesn’t have enough mony to marry her.
then another man, a rich one, married her…but she doesn’t know/love him.
I think it is Jordanian/Saudi…something like that…maybe?

My Tounisy friend says this kind of rhythm in song is common in Libya.
If any one has a friend from Libya they may be able to decipher it.
February 14th, 2008 at 10:47 am
That’s definitely Arabic for me.
@Sari Al-Hiari: I hope it’s not BErbEr you meant to say by “barbar”.
If yes, please use “Amazigh” from now on if you want to refer to those languages, okay? We don’t really appreciate having Berber misspelled *that* way. Thanks!
February 14th, 2008 at 10:50 am
That was actually what meant, BErbEr apparently.
Why the 133t writing?
And I did not know you prefered Amazigh, so put the knife away.

February 14th, 2008 at 11:17 am
Jad: No, It isn’t Jordanian.
Jumana: wow, I’m impressed
Sari: I guess it could be Libyan, sounds indeed very much like the Libyan dialect.
Lalla:Of course it’s Arabic, nobody said it isn’t. :D but i really love it, I should find more of these songs, if you can tell me where I can find songs like I’d really appreciate it :)
Sharkooseh: lol yes hai il Val day song :P
February 14th, 2008 at 11:18 am
@Sari: The 133t writing is for your visual memory to remember to never make that mistake again…hacker!
You realize this is about a lot of people’s *identity*, you do not joke about these things.
@Bakkouz: Sari said it sounded like Berber. :p
But I have no idea what dialect that is, nor who is the singer. :(

For me it sounds rather arabic
(although I have to admit that I understood almost nothing, only a couple of words)
I heared the same melody once on EGYPTIAN radio, sung by beduines.
So I guess it might be from Egypt or Libya.

It’s Libyan the accent is from the Eastern part of Libya. It’s very common and its quite good …its actually folk poetry, at least the lyrics are, and the background music is a new hip style :P.
Here is an example of another one without music :
