“If you tremble indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine.” Ernesto Guevara de la Serna
(June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967)
Rest In Peace, Che.
[…] see, there was so much I wanted to talk and write about, such as Che’s anniversary, November 9, the Gorilla that almost brought me back to blogging, and many other stuff … BUT, […]
Brilliant Bakkouz! Che was a man of honor who fought for a worthy cause. May he rest in peace.
You know what really impresses me about all this? … the fact that it’s been 40 years since he was murdered, YET his popularity is ever on the rise … skyrocketing year after year.
The whole world is looking forward for the next Che to descend upon us, but unfortunately, that dream may never come.
Yeah well obviously there is a lot that I don’t know about you but I remember reading something you wrote about Iraq and having the impression that your views are not very Marxist at all. I have been known to make mistakes though.
comandante … Che Guevara!
Excellent choice of song Bakkouz … This song brings tears to my eyes … Evertime I hear it
Hasta siempre Comandante [Español]
Aprendimos a quererte
desde la histórica altura
donde el sol de tu bravura
le puso cerco a la muerte.
Estribillo:
Aquí se queda la clara,
la entrañable transparencia,
de tu querida presencia
Comandante Che Guevara.
Tu mano gloriosa y fuerte
sobre la historia dispara
cuando todo Santa Clara
se despierta para verte.
Estribillo
Vienes quemando la brisa
con soles de primavera
para plantar la bandera
con la luz de tu sonrisa.
Estribillo
Tu amor revolucionario
te conduce a nueva empresa
donde esperan la firmeza
de tu brazo libertario.
Estribillo
Seguiremos adelante
como junto a ti seguimos
y con Fidel te decimos:
!Hasta siempre, Comandante!
Estribillo
——————————————————————————–
[English] Until Always
We learned to love you
from the heights of history
with the sun of your bravery
you laid siege to death
Chorus:
The deep (or beloved) transparency of your presence
became clear here
Commandante Che Guevara
Your glorious and strong hand
fires at history
when all of Santa Clara
awakens to see you
Chorus
You come burning the winds
with spring suns
to plant the flag
with the light of your smile
Chorus
Your revolutionary love
leads you to a new undertaking
where they are awaiting the firmness
of your liberating arm
Chorus
We will carry on
as we did along with you
and with Fidel we say to you:
Until Always, Commandante!
