“When I open my eyes I must sigh, for what I see is contrary to my religion, and I must despise the world which does not know that music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy.”
– Ludwig van Beethoven, quoted by Bettina von Arnin, letter to Goethe, 1810
Ever since i can remember, I’ve been a huge fan of classical music, rarely does a genre of music touch me so deeply and evoke emotions in me as much as classical music does, especially coming from immortal greats such as Beethoven whom i personally think was beyond genius, Beethoven gave us something so monumentally beautiful it could have easily been inpired to him directly by God himself, and i thought I’d share this compilation of some of my favorite classical music and opera pieces:
Swan Lake composed by Peter Ilitch Tchaikovsky and performed by the Orchestre Regional De Cannes:

Ave Maria, Composed by Franz Schubert and Performed by Lara Fabian

Ode to Joy, Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven and performed by the Boulder Chorale:

Carmen, Composed by Georges Bizet and performed by Julia Migenes:

Bolero, Composed by Maurice Ravel and performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra:

Canon, Composed by Johann Pachelbel and Performed by the Slovak Chamber Orchestra:

The Four Seasons – Composed by Antonio Vivaldi:

Moonlight Sonata (Movement No.1), Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven and Performed by Wilhelm Kempff:

Carmina Burana, Composed by Carl Orff:

Sull’aria (Le nozze di Figaro), Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and perfomed by Dawn Upshaw and Ljuba Kazarnovskaya:
