I am talking, of course, about imaginary friends, first off don’t scoff at the idea of an imaginery friend, #1 usually it is a manifestation of your sub-concious, and #2 you had one too, didn’t you..yes don’t lie to me, i know you did..
Sooooo anyway, what i wanna talk about is simply this, imaginary friends and thier capacity for endless benefit, imagine you wanna make a speech to a thousand people, but you are scared, you practise and practise and could say it backwards upside down under water in space….yet you think everyone wil lboo you, when you finally do the speech imagine your imaginary friend beside you or on the front row cheering, rallying the people around you, people begin toclap, then chher and scream, and all you do is feel the confidence of the room flood through you and then you can make a competent speech..
How you ask, will this help, these people arn’t clapping, they are all stone silent, waiting for you…Well yes they are, but imagining that they are clapping gives you confidence and support…
Ok leaving that idea we will move onto another benefit, Impartial Observation…
Basically this could range from looking at what to wear, what to eat, where to go or should i marry her/him, will he/she marry me?, should i buy this dishwasher, should i move to los santo’s or huddersfield or china or where ever, just ask your friend to make an impartian judement and listen to the answer, you may be suprised…
Well peace out…

Bakkooz, it has a lot more benefits than those two.And they do signify a vivid imaginatin which means clever people.
HOWEVER, I have to admit that it was not always easy for me to accept the fact taht my daughter had a complete imaginary family:)Her husband’s name was like my dad’s , his occupayion was like my husband’s and she had two daughters named RAANA AND SAANA, (NOT rana and sana2) but Raaana and Saaana!!she would talk to them and show them to me:) mom dont sit on that chair ra7 tif3asi Raaana…and it was funny at times but scary at tothers..she outgrew them when she went to KG and forgot all about hem but I have her on tape telling them stories while feeding them mlookhieh..knowing how intelligent my daughter is, I can safely tell you ma fee khoaf 3alaik, you will out grow them when you get to KG:)

well i don’t know anyone who have an invisible friend or imagined one but i hear that alot , when i was a kid i always talk to my barbies i can said that they were my friend , but during my practical course of psychiatric last semister at uni , i saw patients who always talk to their imagined guide/friend and hear their voices talking to them as a star from hollywood or a prophet…..i don’t mean that any person who has an imagined friend is a psychiatric one at all ,but this is a thing that i like to share it with u….

Bakkouz, You’ve actually hit on something. Those of us in touch with the American parenting community saw a fair amount of hype about this late 2005. Apparently a long term (many year) study was conducted and they found that children with a rich imaginary friend community and life were more creative and more intelligent. So, those of us who had imaginary friends can simply see it as more evidence of our indisputed brilliance!
