The new Photoshop CS3 Beta is out and available for download from the Adobe Website, I love photoshop to death and in my humble openion, if there ever was a perfect piece of software then Photoshop is it.
I have downloaded and installed CS3 and So far I’m lovin’ it ;)

Did anyone actually try setting the date ahead on their system and running this? My system refuses to run it after Dec 30th. The beta expiry date must be coded into the application somewhere. Oh well, I will enjoy it till New Years :)

Adobe have put a lot of thought into this new version. I’m enjoying playing around with the new features. It will definitely be worth the upgrade.

The “hack” appears to work but there does appear to also be a hard-coded expiration date set to 2007/06/01. PS won’t run if I set the system date past that date. In fact, I gives me the message:
“Product license has expired.”

I d/l’ed the file, followed instructions, and seemed to work fine. But, set the system date ahead a few months, and it bombs.
Any thoughts about dealing with this?
If it appears to be worth the money, I’ll probably purchase it in the future. As a student, I just can’t afford it at this time, but will be able to next fall.

THE WINDOWS METHOD DOESNT WORK.
Try it. Go on, TRY IT.
Then, set your date forward by like 40 days or so, and BOOM, CS3 is dead.
WORKING METHOD to run beta after 2 days on
Windows:
-Run CS3 before it expires.
-Use the program Debuggy to find the window
class of the MAIN window, not the register or about dialog. Remember this window.
-When CS3 expires, run it, and open Debuggy
-Hook Debuggy to the process for CS3
-Find the class for the main window
-Enable it, and set it to be visible
-Find the class for any dialogs still visible,
and disable them and make them not visible.
ALL THIS CAN BE DONE IN Debuggy!!!
How do I know this?
-Gamemaker 7.0 beta,

I opened GM7 in Debuggy and ENABLED the MainForm, and disabled all other forms visible such as the dialog that closes GM7 when it knows registration isn’t valid. THE RESULT, GM7 worked!
Try this with CS3 for your own eyes!

I figured out how to get rid of the expiration on a Mac. It seems to work on my computer and a friend’s.
In the folder with application.sif, there’s a file called application.xml. Open it in a text editor and look for a date. Once you find it, change it to something 30 years or so in the future and save the file. Photoshop ought to run as usual after that.
(you can also just set your computer date back, but that’s kind of a pain.)

Basicly if they put something on the internet and it’s the full version of software or trial version it’s because they are sharing it with you and want you too have it and access it, Picture it this way it’s Basicly a 100% off sale on everything in the store the game costs $35.00 but sinse it’s a 100% off sale you don’t have too pay anything so you can just take it right out of the store and not even pay for it is it still stealing, no it isn’t because it costed $35.00 and it was a 100% off sale and so you can just take it for free with out paying anything. So that’s basicly the same thing as getting a software crack known as free full version software online, they have them free download me test me out try me out i am a trial version of it little fancy software things wich are too tempt you in to paying for something after your time limit expires so you have too pay for it, or they have the other thing a feature limit and say that if you pay and activate you can get those new features when you could be getting them for free.
