I’ve been asked by a couple of people if there’s a way to download videos from websites such as YouTube, Google video, Daily Motion and others, and the answer is of course, Yes.

There are many websites that you can use to do that, two of the most versatile websites that can handle videos from almost all major video sites are:

The way you use these websites is very easy, you just copy the URL of the desired video into the interface and click download, after that you’ll be prompted to save the file to your computer, click save as and rename the file with any name you want and with the extension .flv, This is very important. ie: right click - save link as - greenday.flv

After you have downloaded the file unto your PC, you’ll need an FLV player to play the video, you can download a very good and free FLV player from Here.

A very simple and easy way to do that also is to download the video downloader extension for FireFox, which will simplify the proccess for you by installing an icon in your FireFox status bar, just open the video page and click the icon, it will lauch the download window immediately.
you can get the video downloader extension form here

Alternativly you can convert the FLV files to AVI or MPG or any other format of your liking, there are many tools you can use to do that.

Hope you find this information useful :)

You should not deliver such tips freely. I advise you to open an “IT clinic” in Aqaba (preferrably in China Town) and provide solutions for customers and rob their money like all IT companies do.
