~ Anathema in Jordan: Exclusive Info.
URGENT UPDATE: The Show Has Been Cancelled.
Anathema are very sad to announce the cancellation of the concert in Jordan on 25th august. The band and promoter have received notification from the Jordanian security services (Mukhabarat) that there has been a security alert and they are not prepared to let the show go ahead on grounds of public safety.
These circumstances are completely beyond the bands control and we have no option other than to cancel the show.
We would like to express our own deep personal disappointment at this situation and to pass on our heartfelt thanks to all the people in the region who have shown us such fantastic support.
If there was any possible way that this show could have gone ahead then rest assured we would now be on our way.
We shall try to re-schedule the show for sometime in the future when the safety for all at the event can be guaranteed.

hi there, just wanted to say how happy that i am going to see anathema in 3 weeks time, i couldnt beleive it when i herd about yesterday, im copying anathemas cds and giving them to my friends that dont know them so they can come with me

Guys i bought my ticket yesterday but today i was offered to buy a ticket form a guy in yarmook beljama3ah and it looked fake, just wanted to warn people not to buy from anyone as if its fake they will not let you in and u will loose your money and u will miss the concert, soo carfull and tell everyone you know.

noo one loves anathema as much as i do ….im simply an anathema freak ! ppl im in the staff for the concert and whoever needs a tiket and is not botherd to go all the way to the shops …jst send me an email and ill reserve some for u.. and pls pls DONT buy them from newhere else other than the staff or the shops that sell the official ones cz u wont be let in !

Guys i dont think anathema’s concert is going to happen, everytime i ask someone if they bought a ticket they say i’ll buy a day before, anathema set a the 18th to be the last day to sell tickets so they know if there will be enough people coming to cover the costs!
so if thats the attitude of people that they all want to buy a day before (ma3 ino ma ra7 yekon fe tazaker lalbeai3) they will not have sold enough tickets to go ahead with the concert, so
