~ The Circle of life
Jordanians are Geniuses, We all know that, its a fact of life, an absolute, as is the speed of light, and one of the aspects of our Genius is urban planning, we’ve become obsessed with buidling bridges and tunnels pretty much every where, but that’s justified i suppose since there are more cars in Amman than there is People, last time i was in Amman i had to wait on one side of the street for over 10 minutes just to cross to the other side, 10 minutes man, thats insane! the traffic was as thick as George W. bush’s brain! and thats seriously thick!
What is not justified however is the flahes of divine inspiration some of our civil engineers have, such as Traffic lights on Circles, now thats just brilliant, absolutely brilliant, Just think about it, Circles are good, Traffic lights are good, why not combine both of them!! We have Such A circle in Aqaba and aparently there’s one in Amman too Which Jano wrote about Here.
Another Astonishing circle in Aqaba is the Circle of Life, well, its not really called that, I only call it that cuase its frickin HUGE!, Check out the Image below and compare the size of the Circle with the size of the Stadium, this should give you an idea on how big this monster of a circle is:

I could be wrong but Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper if they had just put an intersection there? Or maybe they use it as a backup stadium incase the real Stadium was occupied, who knows!

Man, Bakkouz. You weren’t kidding! That is an amazingly large circle! The backup stadium idea is a good one. Or, they could just put a park in it. You could just leave your car on the side of the road. Better yet, one parent could drop everyone off and the kids would be done playing by the time the car made it to the other side! :). Thanks for the shot of that, it is quite impressive.

if it weren’t this huge, aqaba can’t brag about having a “??? ??????”
and judging from the area, i see a desperate need to solve traffic issues there…
