been trying to download vista for a while now servers constantly down at least the ones that serve the UK. Got 24 megabit ADSL2+ (sorry had to gloat there!) so cant wait to flex the bandwidth and check it out will need to partition and make dual boot though dont trust beta software.
haitham: I have both have both OS X and Windows boxes and windows doesnt really suck has a lot more software available and works fine if you use it right. Macs are all about style, and my mac has crashed a couple of times and had to reinstall the OS. having said that there are excellent opensource and freeware software for OS X but there are now compatability issues with some software and the new intel macs.

I wouldn’t Pay a penny for any Microsoft related software if I could afford a Mac! At least Macs look stunning! I’m running a 2-month old GENUINE Windows XP, and it’s screwing up already! Windows simply SUCKS! But I know I can’t but bitch about it and keep on using it!

Sounds fascinating indeed Qwaider, however i don’t know if i’ll be able to download it myself and have a look at this cool stuff since i’m limited with bandwidth at work and i have a lowly 128kb/s connection at home which means it’ll take forever to download :\

Yeah man, I’ve been using it for a while now and Vista totally rocks!
The new themes and UI are Amazing, Media player 11, IE7+ and HUGE security features
I mean HUGE! Security is so freakin tight in the new vista. They have this concept of LUA (Least-privileged User Account) where EVERYTHING that needs higher privileges need to actually ASK the user to enter the administrator password to run. Pretty neat if you ask me.
Similar features were available in Unix a long time ago, but not in the same fashion. I think this new Vista is awesome
Another cool feature that I totally adore is the sidebar. It has this awesome little sidebar that takes gadgets, and puts them there. Among the gadgets… YES, yes … an RSS feed viewer, which is pretty cool feature if you ask me.
Graphically, Vista is so damn sexy. The new UI has new shortcut key (Windows-TAB) where it will cascade all your open applications in 3D and you can scroll through them and pick the one you’re looking for. Seriously cool.
But on the down side, It needs the latest and greatest video cards ones that support Microsoft’s new driver model … but still pretty awesome if you have a decent machine .. it runs amazingly … but a little slower than XP
Check it out … it’s really awesome
I posted an article on this a week ago here: http://blog.sweetestmemories.c.....Display=27
