Tell me, if there is a huge conspiricy, why would there be no plane? Wouldnt it be easier to just… i dont know… hire some people to capture the planes and fly them into the buildings… maybe even get the pilots in on the job too.
No, of course it is all a cover up, clearly it is just a story that an aeroplane flew into the Pentagon, it was a missile. Yes. Because it is easier to simply kill the passengers, ground the aeroplane and fire a missile into the Pentagon than simply just fly an aeroplane into the Pentagon. Yes, genious. Given that the United States is indeed occupying two and maintains troops in several other countries of the middle east, I can appreciate the suspicion from which you view “official” US claims about anything. I have no idea why we invaded Iraq, other than the fact that we could. We certainly don’t seem to be gaining anything from it. Maybe there’s some compelling reason that the administration is keeping secret, but their official reasons don’t stand up to scrutiny. Things like that undermine the credibility of our President, no question. That said, it still doesn’t follow that everything is a lie, or that Americans are brainwashed. Americans may watch the news, but they’re not robots. For example, many in this country *still* believe that John F Kennedy was killed by conspirators, despite exhaustive studies to the contrary, and many years passing without any proof of a conspiracy. Many Americans believe, quite earnestly, that the US government is in possession of alien spacecraft. Nobody here believed Nixon when he was president. Etc. People here are no less human and gullible than people in Jordan. We all work the same way. It is because of this fact that we’re all vulnerable to conspiracy theories. It’s primal human nature to believe that significant events *must* have significant causes. We assign causes based on our existing belief structure (which makes sense). There are plenty of Amercians who share the belief that corporations and wealthy individuals are secretly controlling the world. It’s a popular underpinning of our Environmentalist groups. Assigning blame to those we believe have the means to engineer such events satisfies that part of our brain which is trying to figure out the event. Big events worry us, and we need to answer our concerns to alleviate our anxiety about our powerlessness over such events. Our explanations must also support the rest of our beliefs, or else we’d worry even more about the challenge to those beliefs. In this light, even if your theory is correct, many Americans will stick to the belief that most fits their current system of beliefs. You just can’t change people’s minds very easily. Likewise, it would be an empty exercise for me to try changing your belief about this issue. It’s not going to happen.

Joseph, I apprecaite your sensible reational comment, and i do agree with you totaly that changing ones beleifs is not an easy task, i’m a very rational man myself, i’m no sheep, i don’t just follow the herd and nod, i base my openions on evidence and fact, you know what they say, if it walks like a duck, talks like then, well then… its most probably a duck, its as simple as that, and in the 911 case, there is just too much evidence that rules it out as just a terrorist act, there has been so many secrects and mystery surrounding the event, too many contraditions and too many counter evidence that suggest a conspiracy or at least a cover-up for something…

Good freaking lord, what is this statement meant to accomplish? “Figuring you people out?” Have you even read any of the other posts in this guy’s blog? I did. I read nothing that tripped alarms to me about “psychotic death” or “filth.” He’s just a guy living in the middle east, openly communicating his ideas. I can understand your gut reaction about this particular topic. It’s very close to home, as if a murdered family member were accused of suicide. It’s hard to be objective. That said, it doesn’t help anything to attack him. He’s not happy about the deaths that day, either. If anything, your rant proves his point: 9/11 has driven a wedge between muslims (or anyone middle eastern) and Americans. If you see this as a difference between Christianity and Islam, try to remember Christ for a second. He turned the other cheek, preached forgiveness, and saw the humanity in everyone. Bakkouz, I am so sorry for what my fellow American has said. I am even more sorry that he attempts to represent Christianity. I am a Christian, and know that Islam and Christianity have serious differences - but his words were not dialogue, they were not redemptive.
Joseph is right, Jesus would not speak in such a way, and neither would I. He saved condescension for religious hypocrites.

Mr. Don Gray, I actualy watch a whole lot more U.S and Western Media and TV than middle eastern government run TV, actualy the only government run TV i watch is the local Jordanian channel and and only for certain social and entertainment shows i happen to like.
As for accepting reality, I’ve said it before and i will say it again, I am a rational sensible guy who beleives in facts, not fiction, I did not deny the envolvment of certain groups that might be linked to Al-Qaeda but that also does not rule out the envlovment of the U.S Government in some way, And just as arabs are capable of commiting such acts please remember that Amercians are capable of much worse.

I just happened to come across bakkouz’s post. I am happy that someone (among many others) in Jordan is voicing their views on 9/11 in a rational manner like that as opposed to people like Homammad who are full of hate and have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about, it’s not like you don’t have schools and libraries over where you live?? Geez. Anyhow, the point is, humans are not hard to brainwash in the sense that when you keep hearing the same thing over and OVER again on CNN you just accept it, even though you might have a doubt somewhere in the back of your brain that tells you maybe there’s more. That’s what happened with me. I have watched Loose Change and In Plain Sight, and they were just a starting point, a wake up call, to say: people open your eyes and minds, and all your senses. There are so many other resources on the matter! So much that is documented and well investigated. You just have to dig it up cause it’s not going to be given to you on TV or the world will go mad. For people who care about their county, go look them up. Do your part and don’t just accept what the mainstream media wants you to accept. It’s common sense. Everything that was reported after - and I say “after” a few days of september 11th has been different than on the day of, there has been statements which were never repeated, which leaves so many questions. Why was building 7 pulled down? why hasn’t that been in the news except once (on 9/11)?? There was such a hype on the twin towers yet nothing on building 7. It Collapsed!! Do you remember? And for God’s sakes… How can the towers fall in that manner from a plane crash? Nobody denies that the Pentagon was hit (in reply to Chris), but how it was hit. Planes leave a lot of remains after they crash, something that gives the impression of a plane. We have to ask ourselves these questions. Where were the black boxes after the crashes? how come a passport survives a crash but a black box doesn’t?? I do not have to comment on how ridiculous that is. In the black boxes were reported to have been found and pulled away by officials. My argument is that if there was so much that was covered up from American people, then that itself is an indication of foul play. I don’t need to say any more. I know that a lot of Americans think so, but not enough of them do in order to make a difference. Hopefully the details will keep spreading thanks to fast communication and information spreading. I urge everyone to watch Loose Change and In Plain Sight. Very important documentaries. You don’t have to believe anything, just watch it and judge for yourself. If you’re still convinced by what you heard on fox and cnn still then be it.
On another note, I could not finish watching United 93 in the theatre. I left. It was that bad. I hope they do not show it in Jordan it will make people very angry. I am christian, so unreligious, and half Canadian: and I tell you I was appalled, the movie was horrible. It is such a sensitive time for people who have lost victims in 9/11, for them to watch such a badly written and acted out depiction of what is still a fresh incident. Oh and just a note, who ever said it was accurate, please do some research before you utter such a bold statement. It was far from accurate, far from un-biased and un-political. Religion is politics. Full stop. If you don’t think so then you’re living in ignorance. For the last year all we hear from the Bush administration is that the so-called war against terrorism is targeted at “islamist” terrorists, a people who happen to share the same religion.. hmmmm… hint? All these targeted people need is another propaganda, their image is already so bad it has affected every middle eastern living in the west muslim and non-muslim. United 93 is a boring, weakly directed and horribly written, overstated propaganda. I am sorry I contributed $10 to the box office for it.
Someday, someday in the near future perhaps, people will have realized what things they’ve been overlooking and what things they’ve been lied about.

To admit that a bunch of young, mostly Saudi-born, terrorists are behind 9/11 is to introduce the notion of unstable elements in one’s own backyard. And who wants that? A number of the more paranoid American leftists also believe in similar theories, and I think it’s hilarious that they stand together with the Arabs who are in denial about the entire thing. Official mainstream stories are comforting to those of us who wish to see the world as simply good and evil. The government being good. The problem here is, name it what you want, I prefer the label “alternative theories”: there is documented evidence that not only leftists would want to dig in on what happened that day..
It is seeking the truth. I don’t see why we should close off all possibilities of what might have happened — that would be living in ignorance.
I think some people cannot handle hearing what they’re not used to, hearing the truth. Any educated being would research such a matter that is affecting the whole world.

its really strange, how can anybody base an openion on someting without first getting all the facts and data? like, you can’t just say OH this Computer is really good without checking the specifications and you can’t just say oh this country is really bad without having any information about it what so ever.. how can you form an openion or judgment on anyting before hearing both sides of the story? how can one just ingore the other side without hearing its story first and checking for proof and evidence? I don’t get it.

This is no sci fi movie we’re watching,, this is reality. So please just open up your mind before you accuse people of being comfortable and at the same paranoid with having a notion of the “Other”. Cause the sad news is, whether you or other people admit it, yes we are being dominated by a higher echelon of power — and it is no other, it is just a bunch of people like you and me, except much more powerful. If after you have read all the facts about who’s who in the government of the US, the seris of inside events that lead to 9/11, and you’re still convinced in the official story, then I am ok with that. I’m not accusing anyone or anything. I’ve reviewed the facts. I have come to the conclusion that the conspiracy theories (or however you want to call them) are bogus.
I don’t believe my government is “good” and I don’t believe the terrorists are “evil.” We are all human beings, caught up in the same tide. However, all of us are in possession of free will, and we make our choices accordingly. The terrorists made theirs. Thousands of lives were lost, and thousands more are being lost today.

Thousands of lives are being lost today. Yes. In Palestine. In Iraq. In Israel. The list goes on. I won’t go into that talk, but I would like to remind people that the biggest terrorist act is going into a foreign nation and destroying it, claiming that there is a just cause for that. There would have been absolutely no reason for the War on Iraq if it wasn’t for 9/11. You don’t bomb people to make things right. Now that is a hilarious thought. The terrorist acts can be classified as falling under to categories:
1) You (a leader) acknowledge that you’re gonna go ahead and bomb a country, justifying your intentions with a bunch of excuses you don’t have the backing for, and they don’t have the solution for.
2) You (an unkown individual) surprize everyone around you by bombing them and yourself, for a cause that is unspeakable at that moment, but is obvious to anyone who is interested in knowing why are the typical terrorists doing what they’re doing (certainly not for islam).
Now, I don’t agree with anything they’re doing whatsoever. And no body is denying the existence or doings of the terrorists. Terrorism should be stopped, but until the deeper issues that cause it are fixed, it won’t end. Certainly won’t end with the way things are going now, it takes half a brain to figure that out. So, does that hint anything.
I find it tragic and sad that every day tens of civilian Palestinians are shot down by soldiers who just feel like shooting someone because they “suspect” they are terrorists.
Isn’t it obvious who’s the terrorist in that situation? Are people blind or what. Terrorism has become a term that defines an ethnic group, unfortunately, and not an act.
9/11 is the outcome of a series of events, it was not caused by just a bunch of terrorists with knives lead by Al-Qaeda. I admit it sounds pleasing and convincing, but it is plain naive to think that a bunch of guys can be capable of hitting that exact building in such skillful maneuvers with a plain going that fast — that cannot even be achieved by a super pilot. It is impossible.
I don’t need to say any more. I just hope that people become aware of these issues as time goes by, so that perhaps things will change.

People never cease to amaze me. Comfortable with their SUV’s and frapaccino’s, cell phones and bullshit. Conforming to the status quo listening to the constant lies our media tells us and believing them just for the simple fact that we NEED to believe them. To preserve the AMERICAN way of life, which was built on lies and genocide. I have been compiling information since before “9/11″ telling people what was going to happen about FEMA and the so called war on terrorism. Just now after the Loose Change documentary have my friends actually not looked at me as a zealot(which I don’t mind being called a zealot. Better than an idiot.) or “How could you say that, we’ve been attacked by on our own soil!” True, indeed we have been attacked. Not by some terrorist faction but The Illuminati in the guise of the US Government. I mean come on people, anyone who has seen a Jerry Bruckheimer movie can tell when something was purposely blown up. When does a building collapse on itself and freefall in six seconds flat? How come no actual New Yorkers were interviewed who were right there when the buildings collapsed? Elections were rigged, just research the Diebolt Corporation. The Constitution is being changed as we speak. Katrina was planned. The levies were blown. Our government purposely poisons our minds and bodies with toxic additives and chemicals. Why don’t you think Japan won’t take our beef. Grow a chicken yourself to maturity and cook it. Then go buy a Foster Farm’s Chicken. Look, I know no matter what scientific facts come out key eyewitnesses come out there will still be millions of us who are happy to live in “The Matrix” after all ignorance truly is bliss. People depend on this government to take care of them, to protect them, even it it means being willingly sedated. I leave in closing with this. Hurricane Katrina was the worst disaster to hit our country. Why? Not of the billions of dollars in damage, but the fact that we watched thousands of black people suffer and our government did nothing. They deliberatly let poor black people die. For FIVE DAYS they couldn’t get help to those people, those children, Vietnam vets, Grandmothers, diabetics, the teminally ill. But the worse atrocity is that we have forgotten we’d rather watch American Idol and debate over the aesthethic rhetoric of the problems in this country rather than realize the truth, Racism is alive and pulsating, this country is shrouded in evil, and nobody cares. God Help Us All.

Its interesting that most the people I talk to don’t investigate the facts and just accept everything that happens as the truth. Its like when Collosio was murdered in Tijuana, Mexico who was the next in line for president of Mexico, the media made up some stupid story called the Chupa Cabras, blood sucking goats, to get peoples minds off what was really going on, to get them distracted. Colossio was murdered by the Mexican Government because we was going to be a good president and was going to expose a lot of corruption if elected. They then stuck in a puppet named Ernesto Zedillo for the next 6 years. He did absolutley nothing for Mexico. I lived many years in Mexico, since I’ve been back living in the states, its amazing how much of our freedoms are being taken away. If your credit is bad here you can’t buy a home, or car or open a bank account. Its all part of the plan to see whos who here in the good ole U.S.A. so when it all goes down, they will know who to get rid of and who to keep.

I just wanted give respect for the people died about 61 years ago in HYROSHIMA and NAKAZAGI…if someone still remember these people…looking to these people I can guess who is the real crazy about blood and winning wars…and who will tell me that Japan did the Pearl Harbor…come on…they went back and destroyed half of Tokyo…they could just try the Nuclear Bomb on a small Japanese island…just to fear them….but killing thousands???

I watched the movie some time ago and have been seeding the word to many of my friends and family. It’s mind blowing to see how dumb we as Americans really can be. Some of the comments regarding your blog are just plain retarded. To think that the mass media can’t play games and re-direct our attention to evade the facts is just plain stupidity. Yes the film, United 93 is a feel good movie, but I’m not so sure that it’s truthful. What’s even more scary than the fact that our government could do something like this is our own people believing our government couldn’t do an act as this. Pres Bush has already altered our Constitution, but the same de-bunkers ignore these facts too. Oh yeah, notice how the azz holes that criticize a conspiracy always has to be-little the smallest of typographical errors that someone posts as if to state, “I’m smarter than you because I found a grammatical error in your text; so this must mean that my statements are more substantive than yours”. GIVE ME A BREAK
